FAQs
Do I need to wear socks too?
Pocokids SockShoes products are essentially a combination of both socks and shoes. There’s really no need to wear socks with our shoes! That said, our products can be worn with or without socks. It’s really just a matter of personal preference and comfort.
Can the shoes be worn in cold & wet weather?
Yes, Pocokids SockShoes are designed to keep your little one’s feet warm all year round. :) In addition, we also have products that are specifically designed for winter use. These can be found under the 'Winter' section within our menu.
Are the shoes compatible with wide and/or chunky feet?
One of the most dynamic things about pocokids Sockshoes is that our footwear is designed to accommodate the growing foot size of our little one! Our shoes' lightweight and flexible sole, combined with the materials it's made from, allow our products to easily adjust for all foot shapes and sizes.
Are they comfortable to wear?
Ohhhh yes. They are pretty much the most comfortable piece of footwear you could ever wear, literally. Think the comfort of a sock, but with the convenience and support of a shoe. They are a dream to wear!
Are the shoes waterproof?
Though not waterproof, our products are made with a combination of cotton, polyester, and silicone rubber. Pocokids Sockshoes can be used in wet areas and in the water, making them perfect footwear on the beach or at the park.
Can they easily be taken off by little ones?
Again, this was a huge consideration within development. No, they actually can't easily be taken off! You will notice your child doesn't seem to mind wearing them at all! They are incredibly comfortable and keep their feet warm, so they aren't bothered. Naturally, the shorter sock shoes are slightly easier to take off, but again, they definitely stay on very well!
Do they have an arch support?
Our SockShoes are primarily intended as pre-walking shoes, so the sole is flat. They are specifically designed to mimic the feeling of walking barefoot to support and promote natural and healthy development. We are incredibly strong advocates of minimal, lightweight and flexible-soled shoes for developing toddlers.
What materials are the shoes made of?
Great question! The composition of our socks is 85% cotton, 12% spandex and 3% polyester.
What is the best way to clean the shoes?
Our shoes are fully machine washable! Just throw them in with your normal loads, however, we do recommend using a laundry bag during the wash and to air-dry the shoes only. Ensure to avoid machine drying them.
