Dear parents.

As our little ones approach the milestone of starting school, nurturing their explorative thinking and independence is immensely important. It's a big step, not just for your child but for you too!

Before your child begins school, they should be capable of completing some basic tasks on their own, along with having a rudimentary grasp of numbers and letters. In fact, many schools favor kids being able to do tasks that promote their independence, like using the bathroom alone, recognizing their own names, and washing their hands, over academic skills like counting. This approach helps them to freely engage with other kids who are already adept at these basic tasks in learning to read, write, and do math.

Here are some things your child might benefit from knowing before they start school. These are activities your child can do, but remember, this list isn't a test – every child is unique and develops in their own time.

  1. Recognizing Patterns, Shapes, and Colors: If they're not there yet, you can help them through playful activities. Point out an object and tell your child it's blue, or show them things at home and explain, “That window is a square” or “The mirror is a circle.” Such pre-school learning is invaluable. Toys specific to colors and shapes are even more engaging, making learning through play more effective!

  2. Nurturing Imagination: Provide your child with blocks and various simple accessories to let their imagination run wild. This way, they can discover their interests and talents early on, making it easier for you as a parent to guide them in pursuing their dreams!
  3. Brain and Physical Training: Engaging your child in physical activities like standing on a curved balance board, hitting a ball with a golf club, or riding a toy car is crucial. These activities greatly assist in developing control over their bodies, coordination, and muscle strength!

Let's accompany our children on their journey towards school life, infusing love and support into every step of their growth, helping them build confidence and independence, laying a solid foundation for their future!
